GARDEN GROVE : Services to Be on Hold in City Hall Relocation
City services will be suspended temporarily next week as City Hall moves a block away to a new location.
City Hall, now at 11222 Acacia Parkway, will close at noon on Thursday and remain closed through Nov. 13. Doors will reopen at the new location at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 14.
Services that will not be available include business licenses, plan checks, building inspections, new water accounts, permits and zoning requests and recreation registration.
Residents are urged to try to conduct any needed business before Thursday.
Because not all city departments are moving, many will remain open, including the Community Meeting Center and the Senior Citizens Center.
While City Hall will be moving, its address, P.O. Box 3070, ZIP code 92642, will remain the same, as will all telephone numbers.
