Rep. Gekas Mugged, Chases His Attackers

HARRISBURG, Pa. —
Rep. George W. Gekas (R-Pa.) was attacked outside his home and hit on the head with a wrench. Only slightly wounded, he chased his three assailants as they drove away in his rental car.
Gekas, 65, scuffled with the attackers when they accosted him early Saturday. He later received three stitches for a gash on the head.
