Myceenote Edges Nor’easter to End Seven-Race Slide

Myceenote outfinished Nor’easter by a nose to snap a seven-race losing streak in Wednesday’s $37,000 feature at Santa Anita’s Oak Tree meeting.
Ridden by Martin Pedroza, Myceenote rallied three wide into the stretch to complete 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:15 3/5 and paid $8.20, $3.80 and $3. Nor’easter paid $4 and $3.
Fortunenick was another two lengths back in third.
The victory, worth $20,350, increased Myceenote’s career earnings to $96,400, with three victories in 19 starts.
