San Fernando Valley : A Night Program in Business

Jumping into a field long dominated by costly private schools, Cal State Northridge this spring will offer a special business degree program that working adults can complete entirely with night and Saturday classes.

The three-year bachelor’s degree program will be modeled after similar offerings at several local community colleges. It is aimed at enabling students transferring from those college programs to complete their business degrees at Cal State Northridge in the same night- and weekend-only mode.

Although Northridge has long offered night business courses, working adults have complained that they could not get into the classes and that class schedules were too unpredictable.
