Autoclave Engineers Inc.: The Yorba Linda company said Tuesday that directors will eliminate the regular quarterly dividend, effective immediately. The company paid a dividend of 6 cents a share Sept. 15. The board decided to invest the cash “in strategic opportunities,” said Michael Doyle, president and chief executive officer.

Autoclave also said the company’s name will be changed to Unit Instruments Inc. It will be listed on the Nasdaq system under the symbol UNII. The company makes mass flow controllers and other gas-process equipment for the manufacture of semiconductors.
