Ticket Sales Rise for OCC Events
Ticket sales at Orange Coast College’s Robert B. Moore Theatre are up 43% for the 1995-96 season compared to this point a year ago.
Concerts by Momix, Peter Nero, Shirley Jones, Dale Kristien and others have sold out the 930-seat theater. George Blanc, dean of administrative services, credited the college’s offering of “quality entertainment that most people can afford, including families.”
According to the college’s community relations office, more than 40,000 tickets have been sold to programs at the theater so far this season, contrasted with 28,000 last November. The total number of tickets sold during the 1994-95 season was 60,000.
