It didn’t take long for the Miami Heat to pay back its state rival with a dramatic, last-minute victory.

On Saturday night, Bimbo Coles made a three-point basket with 19.9 seconds remaining to boost the Heat to a 93-90 victory at Miami to end Orlando’s six-game winning streak.

Only eight days ago in Orlando, Anfernee Hardaway’s driving layup with 1.2 seconds left gave the Magic a 94-93 victory over Miami.

“It’s definitely turning into a big rivalry,” Hardaway said. “Because both teams are in the state of Florida, it’s going to stay that way, especially because they have Coach [Pat] Riley and Alonzo Mourning.”

Mourning had 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Dennis Scott scored 22 points for Orlando. Hardaway, the league’s leading scorer averaging nearly 29 points a game, was held to only 18 and suffered a severe leg cramp late in the game.

Magic forward Horace Grant was injured in a scramble and was diagnosed with a bruised left knee that will be re-evaluated today.

Indiana 118, Seattle 104--Reggie Miller returned from a one-game suspension for fighting to score 35 points as the Pacers won at Indianapolis.

The Pacers made 10 three-point baskets, one shy of the team record, and used a fast second-half start to key the win. SuperSonic Coach George Karl was ejected early in the second half.

Toronto 103, Washington 102--Damon Stoudamire’s off-balance 13-foot basket with 2.5 seconds left gave the expansion Raptors their first road victory. Stoudamire had 23 points and 10 assists as Toronto won its second consecutive game after losing seven in a row.

David Robinson led the Spurs with 27 points and 14 rebounds. Larry Johnson led Charlotte with 28 points, but missed a three-point shot at the buzzer.

Cleveland 93, Detroit 90--Terrell Brandon had 27 points and 12 assists, including a key basket in the last two minutes, at Cleveland as the Cavaliers won for the second time in as many nights after losing their first seven games. Grant Hill had 24 points for Detroit.

Phoenix 107, Portland 102--Wesley Person scored 26 points, the last two on free throws after he got a defensive rebound with 4.7 seconds left, and the Suns defeated the Trail Blazers at Phoenix.

The return of Suns point guard Kevin Johnson (19 points and nine assists) after sitting out four games because of a strained knee tendon helped offset a 30-point night by Portland’s Clifford Robinson.

Utah 126, Minnesota 102--Karl Malone had another big game against the Timberwolves, scoring 15 of his 31 points during a six-minute span in the second quarter at Minneapolis.
