Man Missing After Boat Sinks
HUNTINGTON BEACH —
Authorities were searching Sunday night for a man presumed missing after his fishing vessel apparently sank.
About 9:30 p.m., three boats and a helicopter were sent about a mile off Huntington Beach near an oil island after the operator of a small fishing boat summoned help and said his brother had fallen overboard, Harbor Patrol Sgt. Mike Hiller said.
“There appears to be two boats involved,” Hiller said. “One of them sunk.”
