LAKE LOS ANGELES — A 53-year-old Llano man was killed when his car skidded out of control and overturned on a desolate stretch of road, authorities said Friday.
The man, whose name was not released pending notification of his family, was driving north on Longview Road just past Avenue S about 9:40 p.m. Thursday when his car drifted onto the shoulder of the road, said California Highway Patrol Officer Richard Perez.
The driver over-corrected and swerved into the opposite shoulder, Perez said. The car hit a berm and overturned, and the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, he said.
