The soundtrack to “Waiting to Exhale,” featuring three songs by Whitney Houston, didn’t quite reach the top of the national album chart after its first week in stores, but it’s No. 1 on The Times’ Southern California album chart. R. Kelly’s new album, which debuts at No. 1 on the national chart, is No. 3 locally. Meanwhile, international pop star Julio Iglesias is joined on the Latin album charts by a familiar name. The debut from 20-year-old Enrique Iglesias, the youngest of Julio’s three sons, is No. 5 on the local chart, three spots ahead of his father’s “La Carretera.”
