VENTURA : City Seeks Sponsors for ‘Adopt-A-Family’

People willing to “Adopt-A-Family” for Christmas are needed by the Ventura Department of Community Services.
The fourth annual program matches sponsors with families in need of a holiday meal and gifts. Drop-off sites--including one in the City Hall foyer--are also provided for anyone wishing to donate food items or a new, unwrapped toy for holiday baskets.
Last year Adopt-A-Family helped more than 100 low-income households.
