WESTLAKE LAKE : Yacht Club to Hold Regatta on Sunday

Capping off its series of holiday races, the Westlake Yacht Club will host its Kriss Kringle Regatta on the waters of Westlake Lake on Sunday.
Organizers expect a large turnout after the success of the two previous holiday events. In October, the Trick or Treat Regatta drew 38 entries. November’s Turkey Day Regatta had 42. All three races have been sponsored by Young Realtors of Westlake Village.
Sunday’s races, open to all affiliated members of the Southern California Yachting Assn., are scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m., weather permitting. Registration runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon on race day. A meeting for participating skippers will be held at noon.
The entry fee is $5.
