Knowledge is power.
That will be the mantra of the day when the Inglewood Coalition for Drug and Violence Prevention opens the Clearinghouse--a collection of more than 10,000 books, research guides, publications and videos on drugs and violence at 333 W. Florence Ave., Floor C, Suite 306. It is funded by a $500,000 grant from the Center for Substance Abuse.
“Parents who need to know how to talk to their children about drugs can come here, or people who just want information on a problem they might have,” said Coalition Executive Director Delia Council.
