COSTA MESA : Committee to Explore Library Improvements
- Share via
To find out what residents want from city libraries and what changes need to be made, the City Council will appoint a panel to research the issue and prepare a report.
In addition, the Library Services Committee will be charged with exploring how to encourage volunteer services and community donations to the library system.
Officials said they hope to have local business people, senior citizens, school officials, Orange Coast and Southern California college representatives, members of the Friends of the Library, librarians and residents on the panel, which will serve for six months.
Applications for positions on the committee are available at City Hall, 77 Fair Drive. Information: (714) 754-5000.
