Wonderware Pays Cash for South Africa Software Firm

Wonderware Corp. said Wednesday that it has acquired a software company in South Africa for an undisclosed amount of cash.

The privately held company, Professional Technology Management Ltd., has six employees, who will continue product development as part of Wonderware’s research and development group.

Wonderware supplies Windows-based software for the industrial automation marketplace.
