About $200,000 has been allocated by the state to the Ventura County HIV Care Consortium to grant to local agencies.
Funds will be awarded to agencies that best meet the needs targeted by the Ventura County Public Health Services Department and Ventura County Community Foundation. There will be an emphasis on grants for neglected or underserved populations.
Completed applications are due by 5 p.m. on Jan. 4, and funding decisions will be announced by the end of January.
Applications may be obtained by calling the consortium’s office at 389-5978.
