MOORPARK : Mosquito Abatement Panelists Sought
Moorpark is accepting applications from residents who want to serve on the board of the Moorpark Mosquito Abatement District.
The district is responsible for reducing the number of nuisance insects, ranging from mosquitoes to poisonous spiders. The district maintains field equipment and an entomology laboratory.
The five-member board consists of one city appointee and four county appointees. Anyone interested should pick up an application at City Hall. The appointment will be for a term expiring in January, 1998. For more information, call city clerk Lillian Hare at 529-6864, Ext. 213.
