Westside : FEE CUT

Share

Passengers traveling from Los Angeles International Airport will pay less after the holidays when the airport eliminates a $3 passenger fee it has been collecting for two years.

The Department of Airports discontinued the fee, levied on passengers at Los Angeles and Ontario airports, because it has postponed or found alternative funding sources for several projects.

The fee generated about $154.5 million, most of which is to pay for construction of a terminal at Ontario airport.
