LAGUNA BEACH : Applicants Sought for Design Review Board

Residents interested in becoming a member of the city’s Board of Adjustment Design Review Board have until Jan. 4 to file applications.
Board members consider building design, zoning and coastal development issues, duties that require about 10 hours of work a week. Experience in building, architecture, landscaping or planning is helpful.
Board members serve two-year terms and are paid $120 a month. They meet at 6:30 p.m. on the first four Thursdays of each month.
The City Council will select two regular members and one alternate at its meeting Jan. 9. The new terms begin Feb. 1. Applications are available in the city clerk’s office at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave. They must be filed by 5 p.m. Jan. 4. Information: (714) 497-0705.
