Three Robbed at Gunpoint in Huntington Motel

Police are looking for three people who robbed a man and two women of morethan $900 in cash and jewelry at a motel room Wednesday night, police said.

The robbery at the Holiday Inn in the 7600 block of Center Drive occurred just before 8:30 p.m. when the robbers were socializing in the victims’ room, police said.

One assailant struck the male victim and then pulled out a semiautomatic handgun. The robber told the man to lie down, then stole $6 and his pager.

His two female companions were then robbed of $925 in cash and jewelry, police said.

Police said the assailants had recently met the victims and had been invited to their room, where the robbery occurred.

The gunman was described as Latino, 25 to 30, six feet tall, with a heavy build and a tattoo of a woman on his left biceps. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and tan pants.

The second assailant was described as white, in his 20s, 6-foot-1, thin, with black hair. He was wearing a white baseball cap, a short-sleeved white shirt with a blue thermal shirt underneath, and blue jeans.

The third robber was described as a white woman in her 30s, with a teardrop tattoo under her left eye. She was wearing a white turtleneck, a red V-neck sweater and black pants.
