Light Quake Hits Knoxville

WASHINGTON —
A light earthquake shook Knoxville, Tenn., and surrounding counties early Friday, but no damage or injuries were immediately reported, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The quake, with a preliminarily magnitude of 2.6, was centered 15 miles east of Knoxville, the survey said.
