Time--3 p.m. Radio--KMPC (710). TV-Prime Sports.

The Trojans have won their last two games, including an 82-72 victory over Nevada Las Vegas last Sunday. Junior Stais Boseman is leading the team in scoring (19.8 points) and steals (1.6). After being regarded primarily as a defensive specialist his first two seasons, Boseman has developed into an offensive threat in making 49% of his field-goal attempts, including 15 of 33 three-point shots. In his last three games, he is averaging 23 points and is shooting 57%. Senior Brandon Martin leads the team in three-point shooting, nine of 19 for 47%. Overall, Martin is averaging 16.2 points and is shooting 91% from the free-throw line. Point guard Cameron Murray is shooting only 39% from the field and is averaging 7.9 points, but he leads the team with seven assists per game. Coach Charlie Parker is pleased with the play of the Trojans’ inside players. Junior Jaha Wilson had 13 points and 13 rebounds against UNLV and despite having two bad games this season is averaging 11.2 points and eight rebounds. Center Avondre Jones leads the team with 8.5 rebounds per game and is scoring 14.5 points. USC and Irvine have played only twice; the Trojans won in 1991, the Anteaters in 1983. Under Coach Rod Baker, Irvine won the Joe Lapchick tournament at St. John’s to open the season, including an upset victory over the host team in the championship game. Brian Keefe and Raimonds Miglinieks lead the Anteaters in averaging 16.3 points each, with Miglinieks averaging a team-high 7.5 assists. Michael Tate is their top rebounder at 6.8 per game.
