IRVINE : Post-Parade Look at Floats Offered

You’ve seen them on television, now you can see them in person--the floats in the Rose Bowl parade, that is.
The city’s Community Services Department is organizing a chartered bus trip to Pasadena to look at the elaborate floats from 9 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. Jan. 2.
The trip, which includes a luncheon on the way home, costs $27. Advance registration is required. Information: (714) 724-6610.
