WESTMINSTER — Two men carjacked a 1986 silver Honda Accord from a convenience store parking lot Monday night by forcing the occupants from the car at gunpoint, police said.
The car was parked in a 7-Eleven store lot near Bolsa Avenue and Magnolia Street when the two men approached the driver about 7 p.m. and asked him for a cigarette, Westminster Police Lt. Mike Schliskey said.
The men then pulled a gun and forced the driver and a female passenger out of the car, Schliskey said.
The carjackers then took off westbound on Bolsa. “Right now, we don’t have much to go on,” he said.
No one was injured, police said, and the investigation is continuing.
