Management Buying Gerard Roofing

Management of Gerard Roofing Technologies is acquiring the company from parent Alcan Aluminum Ltd. of Montreal. Terms were not disclosed.

“As a private company, we’ll be better able to meet consumer demand for high-performance, lightweight roofing products,” said Peter Croft, Gerard president. Croft will retain his post in the company, which makes stone-coated steel roof tiles for the home building market.
