QuickStart Program: Displaced aerospace workers or business owners and others with a good business idea could qualify for an eight-week business training program sponsored by the Defense Department. The QuickStart Entrepreneurial Training Program will be conducted by Encon Associates at 9058 E. Washington Blvd. in Pico Rivera. Applicants can attend orientation sessions Jan. 18 and 25. Entrepreneurship for Women and Minorities: The 10th annual Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Development Conference will focus on solutions to unique business problems for those groups.
