Car Dealer Proposes to Build Service Bays
Bob Beaty Ford plans to add a quick-lube station to its dealership at the intersection of 1st and Cochran streets, if the Simi Valley Planning Commission approves.
Commissioners will discuss tonight a proposal to add 1,672 square feet to an existing building at the dealership. The addition will provide room for four service bays for lubricating and changing oil in vehicles.
The new service bays, to be built along Cochran street, will eliminate six parking spaces from the lot. The lube station will not, however, significantly affect the local environment, according to city planners.
