A sheriff’s deputy stopped to question a man who had parked in a handicap zone without a decal Wednesday night and discovered a carload of stolen computer parts, purchased with fraudulent credit cards, authorities said.

About 7:30 p.m., the deputy patrolling the 23100 block of Lake Center Drive saw a man either loading or unloading bulky items while parked in a handicap zone near the Irvine Suites Hotel, Sheriff’s Lt. Richard Paddock said.

After questioning the man, the deputy discovered the stolen items worth from $10,000 to $20,000 in the car. The deputy also found that the man was a suspect in an unrelated case, Paddock said.
