Sonora 9, Buena Park 1--Harmoni McDaniel scored five goals, giving her 18 this season, and Stacy Keen had four, giving her 12, for Sonora (10-4-1, 3-1-1).

Pacifica 7, La Quinta 3--The Mariners increased their goal total to 64 in six league games. Amanda Freed scored four goals, giving her 25 this season, and Alanna Brown had two, giving her 22, for Pacifica (10-4, 6-0).

Edison 1, Esperanza 0--Loree Tamanaha scored off an assist by Annie Bennington about two minutes into the game for host Edison (12-4-5, 2-1-2), which is ranked eighth in Orange County. Esperanza (10-5-2, 3-2) is ranked ninth.
Fountain Valley 2, Huntington Beach 1 (OT)--Kim Green scored her second goal in the 90th minute for visiting and third-ranked Fountain Valley (12-2-4, 2-0-2).
Los Alamitos 3, Marina 2--Carrie Shinen had a goal and an assist for host Los Alamitos (9-4-4, 3-2), which led, 3-0. Sixth-ranked Marina is 10-5-2, 3-2.
In South Coast League wrestling:
San Clemente 36, Mission Viejo 35--Sophomore Robert Volga, competing in his first varsity match, recorded a 8-1 decision over Travis Allen in the 160-pound class as San Clemente (12-8-1, 2-1) held on for the victory. Ninth-ranked San Clemente, which was without four wrestlers because of the flu, took a 36-15 lead after Volga’s match.
After San Clemente was forced to disqualify a wrestler in the 171-pound class, 10th-ranked Mission Viejo (10-9, 1-2) moved Jeff Tibbitts, fourth in the county at 171, up to the 189 division where he beat Jeremiah Nelson, 18-0.
In the Empire League:
El Dorado 44, Loara 30--Delonne Kelly won his match at 171 pounds with a pin in 23 seconds for host El Dorado (3-0 in league).
