Microsoft Co-Founder Considering Time Warner Stake: Susan Pierson, a spokeswoman for Paul Allen’s privately held investment vehicle Vulcan Ventures, confirmed a Wall Street Journal report that Allen had had discussions with Time Warner Inc. executives, although she said there have been no talks for three months. “Really, all that’s happened is he’s expressed some interest in making an investment,” she said. The newspaper said Friday that Allen was seeking Seagram Cos.’ 15% stake in Time Warner, which the Journal estimated would be worth $2.3 billion.
