Princely Anniversary: Prince Charles will preside over Britain’s commemoration of the 100th anniversary of cinema on March 7 when Miramax Films’ 17th century costume drama “Restoration” is shown in what is being billed as London’s “Premiere of the Century.” The premiere, to be held at the Empire Leicester Square--the site where movies first were shown in Britain--will benefit Charles’ charity, the Prince’s Trust. The event is hosted by the organization Cinema 100, of which the prince is a patron. In keeping with the centennial theme, invitations will be sent to 100 top European and American film stars representing the last century.
