Westside : NEW DEAN
Professor Laurie L. Levenson, familiar to court watchers for her legal commentaries on the O.J. Simpson trial and other highly publicized court cases, has been named associate dean for academic affairs at Loyola Law School, it was announced this week.
During the three-year term as associate dean, Levenson, 39, will be responsible for the school’s curriculum schedule and pro bono activities.
A resident of West Los Angeles, she has has been a member of the Loyola faculty since 1989, teaching criminal law, criminal procedure, ethics and evidence.
Her appointment will be effective on April 1.
