Vancouver Wins With Late Goals
Russ Courtnall and Trevor Linden scored third-period goals to lead the Vancouver Canucks to a 4-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday at Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Courtnall came from beside the net to break a 2-2 tie at 9:57 and Linden clinched it at 15:20.

Jason Wiemer, John Cullen, Chris Gratton, Shawn Burr and Rob Zamuner scored for Tampa Bay. Derek Plante and Jason Dawe scored for the Sabres.
New York Islanders 5, Dallas 3--Zigmund Palffy’s tie-breaking goal, his 20th of the season, with 7:11 remaining put the Islanders ahead to stay at Uniondale, N.Y.
