Westcorp Hikes Dividend, Number of Shares

Westcorp, parent company of Western Financial Savings Bank and WFS Financial Inc., has raised the quarterly dividend to 10 cents a share from 9 cents a share, payable March 1 to shareholders of record Feb. 16. The company also announced a 5% stock dividend, payable June 17 to shareholders of record May 20.
