Roy Leads Avalanche Over Canadiens

Goaltender Patrick Roy, in his first appearance against the team he led to two Stanley Cups, recorded his 299th career win Monday night, leading the Colorado Avalanche over the Montreal Canadiens, 4-2, at Denver.
San Jose 6, Toronto 4--Jamie Baker had two goals and Chris Terreri stopped 45 shots at San Jose as the Sharks won for only the second time in nine games (2-6-1).
