No O.J. Ads Yet: Advertising for O.J. Simpson’s videotape has been turned down by several Los Angeles TV stations, including KNBC-TV Channel 4, KCAL-TV Channel 9, KTTV-TV Channel 11 and KCOP-TV Channel 13. Although most stations declined to explain the reasons for their decision, a spokeswoman for Channel 13 said: “We just have no interest in helping him make any money.” Meanwhile, representatives for both KTLA-TV Channel 5 and KABC-TV Channel 7 said they have been contacted by producer Tony Hoffman about running the ad but have not yet made a decision. At KCBS-TV Channel 2, meanwhile, acting general manager John McKay, who will make the decision for his station, has been out of town since Saturday and was unreachable Wednesday to comment.
