San Gabriel Valley : RETURNING TO THE FOLD

Glendora is rejoining the San Gabriel Council of Governments because former San Dimas Mayor Terry Dipple is no longer at its helm, said City Manager Art Cook.

Last month, Dipple quit the presidency of the local cities association and his mayoral seat after his conviction on forgery charges.

Glendora’s displeasure with Dipple stems from his and San Dimas’ opposition to a proposed K Mart store in Glendora. The store near San Dimas was never built. . . .
