USC and UCLA Lose on Road

Adia Barnes scored 17 of her 25 points in the second half as Arizona held on for a 78-73 Pacific 10 Conference victory over USC on Saturday at Tucson, Ariz.
Tina Thompson led the Trojans (11-11 overall, 6-7 in Pac-10) with 32 points.
Arizona is 16-5, 7-5.
Arizona State 71, UCLA 70--Emma Witkowski had 22 points and eight steals to lead Arizona State (6-15, 2-10) in a Pac-10 game at Tempe, Ariz. UCLA (10-12, 5-8) was led by Kisa Hughes with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Women’s Basketball Notes
Southern Nazarene defeated Lubbock Christian, 77-44, at Oklahoma City to become the first women’s college team to win 100 consecutive home games. The Redskins (24-2) haven’t lost at home since Jan. 23, 1989.
