Share

Chumash culture and native wildlife will be the subjects of an event at the Chumash Interpretive Center on Lang Ranch Parkway in Thousand Oaks.

Starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, the center and museum will host a day of presentations designed to introduce people to the facility and teach them about the area’s wildlife.

The event begins with a tour of the center’s exhibits on Chumash life, followed by a presentation on co-existing with local animals. During lunch, naturalists will perform Chumash games. In the afternoon, participants will take a mile hike to view Chumash rock art.
