2 Men Sought in Shoe Store Robbery
Police said Tuesday that they are looking for two men who robbed a Payless Shoesource store in Ventura over the holiday weekend.
Two heavy-set Latino men wearing surgical masks and displaying a handgun robbed the store at 4744 E. Telephone Road on Monday night, police said.
The men allegedly forced employees into a back office and disabled the phone. They fled the store with an undetermined amount of money after ordering the employees not to leave the office, police said. There were no injuries.
