2 Teens Jailed Over Theft of 3 Vehicles
Two Ventura teenagers remained jailed Thursday on suspicion of stealing three vehicles, Ventura police reported.
The two were arrested about 2 a.m. Wednesday after an officer noticed them driving a truck with broken windows on Ralston Avenue near Johnson Drive. When the officer asked for the keys to the Toyota truck, he was handed keys to a 1989 Ford pickup. The Ford was reported stolen earlier in the day and found stuck in the mud at the end of Golf Course Drive.
Items from a third stolen car were found in the two trucks, police said.
Chadwick B. Morrison, 18, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of grand theft.
