Entries Sought for Annual Arts Event
The city’s Cultural & Beautification Committee is seeking entries for the eighth annual La Palma Celebration of the Arts, set for 1 to 4 p.m. March 16 in Central Park.
The exhibit will feature locally written poetry and prose as well as paintings and sculptures by local artists.
The categories are kindergarten, first through third grades, fourth through sixth grades, junior high, high school and adult. Poetry and prose entries must be typed, double-spaced and limited to 200 words. Each art exhibit must have a 2-inch mat and a city-provided label.
Entries must be delivered to the Community Center, 7821 Walker St., by March 12.
