Shooting Death of Man, 69, Probed
SHERMAN OAKS —
Los Angeles police on Saturday were investigating the shooting death of an elderly Sherman Oaks man whose body was found inside his home.
William Struve, 69, was found about 12:30 p.m. Friday with a gunshot wound to his upper body inside his locked residence in the 4900 block of Hazeltine Avenue, Sgt. Paul McMillin of the Police Department’s Van Nuys Division said.
Police said Struve was last seen leaving his house Wednesday with another man.
No suspects had been arrested Saturday.
