Two-Week Stays at Idyll Untours

Pennsylvania-based Idyll Untours, which for 20 years has arranged three-week apartment stays for Americans in Europe, is offering two-week options for the first time this year.

Idyll, used by many Californians, has apartments in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria, Italy and Switzerland plus Prague and Budapest. Travelers are met at the airport and delivered to their dwellings, briefed on train and bus schedules and provided with maps and rail passes.

Untour’s inclusive packages, which include round-trip air fare and, in some cases, a rental car, vary by season and the number in the party. For example, the cost of a two-week inclusive Untour in the Netherlands ranges from $1,231 per person for a party of four traveling in the shoulder season to $1,729 per person for a party of three traveling in peak summer months.

This year, Idyll is allowing children 15 and under to stay free as long as they travel with two paying adult family members; children must pay for air fare and some ground transportation.
