Painters Are Sought for Volunteer Project
At least 100 volunteers are needed to help refurbish 40 houses of low-income elderly and disabled homeowners through the Paint Your Heart Out Anaheim program.
Teams of volunteers ages 16 and older will prepare the homes on a Saturday in April for painting on May 4.
Since Paint Your Heart Out Anaheim began in 1990, work valued at more than $2 million has been done on 193 houses, program coordinator Carolyn Griebe said.
The project is conducted by the Anaheim Community Foundation and the city’s Community Development Department. Information: (714) 974-9481.
