USC, UCLA Finish With Losses

USC, finishing its first losing season since 1990, fell to Washington, 63-57, Saturday in a Pacific 10 Conference game at Seattle.
Tina Thompson scored 26 points for the Trojans (13-14, 8-10).
Washington finished 16-13, 10-8.
Washington State 88, UCLA 81--The Bruins also finished with a losing record, dropping to 13-14 and 8-10 with this defeat at Pullman, Wash. Jenni Ruff scored 35 points for the Cougars (17-12, 8-10). The Bruins were led by Kisa Hughes with 18 points.
Hawaii 68, Pacific 64--Nani Cockett scored a career-high 28 points, 22 in the second half, as the Rainbow Wahine (23-5) won the Big West tournament championship game at Reno. Kate McAllister, who was named tournament MVP, led Pacific (18-12) with 28 points.
