Share

A city zoning official will hold public hearings on a number of applications for city permits in the next two weeks, including a proposed cellular phone antenna in Woodland Hills and a proposed expansion of a Pacoima restaurant and banquet hall.

The applications include requests for:

* A conditional-use permit to build a 45-foot-high pole antenna at 23130 Ventura Blvd. in Woodland Hills. The antenna would be built on property that contains a bowling alley, cafe and bar. The hearing will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

* A conditional-use permit to continue operating and expand a restaurant and banquet hall at 13535 Van Nuys Blvd. in Pacoima. The project would expand the restaurant by 3,150 square feet to 7,350 square feet. The eatery, El Girasol Restaurant, serves liquor and offers dancing and entertainment. The hearing will be held at 10:30 a.m. March 22.
