Obituaries : Dorothy Evelyn Wolstenholm; Motel Owner
Dorothy Evelyn Wolstenholm, owner of Circle W Motel in Ventura, died Monday in a Santa Barbara convalescent hospital after a long illness. She was 79.
Wolstenholm, who was born June 11, 1916, in Peoria, Ill., was a 44-year Ventura County resident, coming from Illinois.
The Wolstenholm family has owned and operated the Circle W Motel for 43 years.
She is survived by her brother, Murlyn Wolstenholm of Ventura, and her cousin, Justine Wolstenholm of Peoria, Ill.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ted Mayr Funeral Home in Ventura.
Private entombment will be at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura.
