Pierce’s Hovsepian to Coach Davis Cup
Pierce College Coach Arvis Hovsepian has been selected to join the coaching staff of the Armenian Davis Cup team and will assist the Armenian Olympic team when it competes in Atlanta in August.

Saugus middle blocker Jennifer Phillips has committed to play for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, over Idaho and Nevada Las Vegas.
Miscellany
Erik Kramer, quarterback of the Chicago Bears, will host a celebrity golf tournament April 1 at Woodland Hills Country Club to benefit the Valley College football program.
Kramer played at Pierce for Jim Fenwick, now the Valley coach.
