Reseda Schools

Why move a magnet to Reseda High School (Letters to the Editor, March 3)? Any student who wants an excellent magnet education without the trappings of a year-round school has an option already available: Cleveland Humanities Magnet in Reseda. In place for over 15 years, our humanities program is nationally known. Every year, more than 90% of our graduates are accepted to four-year colleges and universities, including the likes of Berkeley, Brown, Yale, Stanford, Cornell and Wellesley. Last spring, our 323 juniors and seniors took 380 Advanced Placement exams. We had five National Merit Scholars. Our innovative teaching teams are continually developing new course work, crafting each grade level’s curriculum to be the best.

We’re not closing, we’re not going year-round and we’re not wondering what we’ll be doing next year.
